Aspetuck Teams
Aspetuck and all CT youth teams align with IRB (International Rugby Board) age standards. The age cut offs for our youth teams for the 2022-23 season are as follows;
YOUTH TEAMS
Under 8 (flag) – Born after September 1, 2014 and before 8/31/2016
Players are eligible for the U8 team if they have not reached their 8th birthday by September 1st of the year prior to the U8 season (generally 2rd grade and below)
Under 10 (flag) – Born after September 1, 2012 and before 8/31/2014
Players are eligible for the U10 team if they have not reached their 10th birthday by September 1st of the year prior to the U10 season (generally 3rd and 4th grade)
Under 12 (tackle) – Born after September 1, 2010 and before 8/31/2012
Players are eligible for the U12 team if they have not reached their 12th birthday by September 1st of the year prior to the U12 season (generally 5th and 6th grade)
Under 14 (tackle) – Born after September 1, 2008 and before 8/31/2010
Players are eligible for the U14 team if they have not reached their 14th birthday by September 1st of the year prior to the U14 season (generally 7th and 8th grade)
